Christopher had an exciting day at swim class on Saturday morning. Since our last season of swim class, back in the spring, he has had some major milestones: he is now walking...and pretty fast I might add! He now recognizes and responds to music...he will clap along and move to the beat....and the biggest milestone in my book is that he now understands the pool and knows that he LOVES it.
Unfortunately, my anal self got us to swim class 15 minutes early on Saturday and my inpatient toddler...had a complete meltdown because I wouldn't let him jump in the pool. Yup, right in front of all the proud parents and grandparents watching their little ones in the class before us. Screaming and kicking...full out meltdown. The instructor teaching the class before us misunderstood this behavior as him not wanting to go in the water.
Note to self: We will always get there on time from now on. We will not enter the building until it is time for him to start his class.
